Baptism is a Sacrament which cleanses us from original sin, makes us Christians, children of God, and heirs of heaven. Christians believe that Baptism is necessary to salvation, because without it we cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Baptism Preparations Classes:
RCIA meets every Wednesday nights at 7pm from each fall until Easter at the St. Ann's Parish Center. We invite anyone who would be interested in joining the Catholic Community to come and find out what the process is all about. It could be someone who is already baptized in another faith and has decided to come into full communion with the Catholic Church.
This is NOT a program, but a journey of faith and discovery, supported by catechesis of the Catholic Church, with the help of the RCIA team, sponsors, Fr. José - all of whom journey alongside the catechumens. Call (308) 324-4647 to register.
High School Pre-Confirmation & Confirmation Classes (11th & 12th grades)
All couples planning to marry in the Catholic Church need to make an appointment with Fr. José at least 6 months prior to their planned wedding date. This applies to couples who have
never been married, couples who are cohabitating (i.e., living together), and couples who are married civilly. The details of the marriage preparation will depend on the particular situation of each couple.

In the Church's Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, through the ministry of the priest, it is Jesus who touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailment. His cures were signs of the arrival of the Kingdom of God. The core message of his healing tells us of his plan to conquer sin and death by his dying and rising.
The Rite of Anointing tells us there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament. A careful judgment about the serious nature of the illness is sufficient.
Please contact Parish Center to arrange Anointing of the Sick (308) 324-4647.
Ordination to the priesthood is always a call and a gift from God. Christ reminded his Apostles that they needed to ask the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into the harvest. Those who seek priesthood respond generously to God's call using the words of the prophet, "Here I am, send me" (Is 6:8). This call from God can be recognized and understood from the daily signs that disclose his will to those in charge of discerning the vocation of the candidate.
